Sello Senex Mashile

Sello Senex Mashile was born on the 15th of November 1956. He is a husband to Angela Mashile. He was born into a poor family that couldn’t even buy him shoes in Bushbuckridge.

Now Sello Mashile is a well-respected business man in Pretoria. He was working for an insurance company in 2004 when he decided to resign and open his own funeral parlour. Sello said: “Some people thought I was making a fool of myself because I didn’t have the cash to run it properly”, but the company did well. Today he has more than 50 employees.

“When some people noticed that my business was growing fast, they shot me twice out of jealousy, but God saved me".

"I have buried many people free of charge after I realized the pressure their families where under”.

Beside the funeral parlour Sello also runs a few catering and decorating companies around Gauteng. Sello held headlines by offering to help three families whose kids drowned at Moretele Park. He said: "I wanted to donate to the three families because losing a child is like cutting yourself with a sharp knife".
